Dr. Shaw is a highly accomplished research scientist widely recognized as a foremost expert in the field of immunology and vaccine development. His in-depth experience includes leading all processes associated with the design, manufacturing, and delivery of new vaccinesand biologicals. In addition, he has proven success driving R&D activities, leading corporate start-up functions, and identifying and capitalizing on potentially lucrative new technologies. Dr. Shaw was responsible for the development of highly successful Merck vaccines: Proquad®,Varivax®, Zostavax®, RotaTeq® and the early stages of Gardasil® at Merck (1990-2006).
